Its hard for us to imagine it's out seventh year of Beach to Bay! We have had so much fun the past years, and we cannot wait to bring you this years event!
All year we plan who and what will make the next event the best of them all. And, do we have some awesome activities for you! Be sure to get on down to the beach for a great day out. It doesn't matter if your coming alone, with family, friends, your grandma or even your pet frog!

Scheduled games between teams every 30 minutes.
The Race for the 6 and Under's Every year we host our Junior Dash for the little ones at 12 pm
Starting at the playground, children race across the bridge and onto the finish line. Each entrant receives a prize pack with wonderful goodies! Registrations are taken on the day from the Active Strahan Stand
Sling the Salmon
This traditional competition has a goal of the longest distance thrown.
Free to enter. Two categories: Juniors – 12 years and under*, 1.5 kg fish Senior – 13 years and over, 3 kg fish
Prizes for who can sling it the furthest! *pre-school age is at discretion of the Controller.
Come and catch a fish! The Fishcare trailer and our well-known angling pool is now synonymous with communicating responsible fishing practices and is sought out by parents and children at many Shows and events. We have bright display panels increasing the attractiveness of the educational display.
Jump, Jump, Jump!
This year we have partnered with a new business, and cant wait to see what they bring to Beach to Bay! The Castle will be set up from around 9:30 am. A favorite with the children – bounce, fly and giggle!
TASMANIAN FIRE SERVICE
The Strahan Fire Truck will be at Beach to Bay for all the kids to explore. Adults: Anthony will be in attendance with all the fire brochures and information you need to get you moving toward being prepared for the next bush fire season.
