The brigantine "Windeward Bound" is a 33 metre symbol of enterprise and commitment to provide youth with an opportunity to enjoy and learn skills otherwise out of their reach. The Windeward Bound Trust aims to foster good character and a spirit of enterprise in the youth of Tasmania and Australia through sail training.
Throughout our 2017 Tasmanian Circumnavigation the Windeward Bound visited Strahan, and provided sail training opportunities to many students within the region.
We will be bringing some information and fun team work games which will provide an introduction for what our voyages and day programs are all about.
